IFP Energies nouvelles (IFPEN) is a major player in research and training in the fields of energy, transport, and the environment.
From scientific concepts in fundamental research to technological solutions in applied research, innovation is at the heart of our action, structured around four strategic orientations: climate, environment, and circular economy; renewable energies; sustainable mobility; responsible hydrocarbons.
In the context of the energy transition, IFPEN is notably developing new plastic recycling processes.
Significant actions have been undertaken on polymers such as PET or polyolefins with the aim of ensuring the industrialization of the associated processes through Axens, a subsidiary of IFPEN. Studies are at a less advanced stage concerning PVC.
Within the Process Design Department, you will join a multidisciplinary project team to carry out studies on process flow diagrams and layouts of technologies enabling the simulation and optimization of the PVC recycling process.
